The approved Canyon Oaks plan represents a new approach to planning which is based on 3 years of solid research and robust community outreach conducted to understand local land use wants and needs.
The end result is an approved plan that replaced the 150,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, 180 apartments and 1,000 required parking spaces previously allowed on the property. The new approved plan includes a new gated enclave of estate residences, a boutique-style hotel and ensures the preservation of nearly 80% of our property as permanent open space. This four-star hotel will also include a tapas-style bistro with a relaxing wine and craft beer lounge, meeting rooms and loggia with outdoor seating, fire pits, bocce ball court and swimming pool – all open to the enjoyment by residents of Calabasas.
